Where we were
Both of us were searching for the next chapter in our lives, and it was not in any way feeling like a traditional retirement.
After eight incredibly intensive and successful years, Rick left Latter & Blum looking for a break from the pace he had been keeping and a new chapter in his life.
Alexis retired from Enterprise after running an extensive operation and mistakenly thought he would spend a few decades “hanging out on the river” and kicking back.
How we formed
While these two highly successful professionals failed miserably at stepping away from career life, they happened to find each other through their philanthropy and volunteer positions in the nonprofit world. After a series of coffee house meetings, lots of talk and caffeine led them to the conclusion that they had complementary skills, a shared view of the challenges facing businesses, and a common set of values for life and work.

Envision Advisors believes strongly in “meeting our clients where they are” and brings scalable methodologies to fit their readiness for change, budget and business strategy. We embed within your organization as a duo of senior executives working side-by-side with your leadership team.
How we are different
We hold four beliefs as pillars of our business:
- Business Strategy is not delivering a PowerPoint deck for clients to figure out how to execute. Instead, we work with you through execution and refine the plan as the market evolves, skills are built in your organization, and feedback on execution points to the need to refine and refresh a dynamic business strategy.
- Competitive Advantage cannot be attained and held onto in today’s convulsive markets without ongoing assessment and innovation – so we build that. We teach you how to constantly see and hear the market’s indications of change and how to innovate to align the business for the next advantageous positioning.
- Innovation is not something done by Millennials in incubators and garages. Instead it is a competency that can be taught, nurtured, measured and rewarded in every organization. But it is not a one-size-fits-all capability and must be shaped to fit the market conditions, the client and the organization. Our goal is to help create an internal culture that breeds innovation at all levels.
